+I'm happy with this brand & just ordered more peppercorn varieties.+Sturdy plastic packaging that zippers/seals well and can withstand storage, keeping the peppercorns fresher longer.+ Herbaceous, green flavors. I'm always reminded of subtle hints of evergreen along with slightly sweet, fruity flavors. Really lovely!+Much more delicate than spicy hot white peppercorns or the pungent heat of black peppercorns.They are from the same plant as black (white peppercorns too) but, picked at the green, unripe stage giving them their unique flavor. same fruit as black peppercorns, both are from the Piper nigrum plant.A must in my kitchen for cooking, finishing touches & on the dinner table by the common salt & pepper.Recently, I've cut way back on my sodium intake. I'm a salt lover (abuser, lol) so everything tastes so, so bland. I'm not a fan of common black pepper as a major seasoning at the dinner table.+White, green & pink peppercorns are more delicate and adds life back into boring, unsalted dishes without the bite of black pepper taking over.I use many other spices also, I create my own seasoning flavor blend options, put them in shakers to choose from for every meal. I go through a lot, fast as I adjust to replacing salt!I can now say, 3 months later, I'm quite okay without salting the majority of my dishes.
