I upgraded my grinder from a blade grinder to this burr grinder. So far, I've only used it on the coarse setting, so cannot speak to how it grinds on the finer settings. It does a great job on the coarse / pour over settings. My only complaint is the static cling at the opening where the ground beans come into the cup. Not a lot but ground beans that cling to the plastic will continue to drop down after removing the cup . Even if you wipe it off, there will still be ground beans dropping down. Otherwise, I really like it and am glade I decided to upgrade.
