just got this and used it today! i had to pull out the directions on how to set the grind bc it’s confusing. it says grinds 8-12 are espresso fine and 18-24 are pour over but the numerical dial only goes up to 12. from what i can tell, they mean for you to not pay attention to the numerical dial and instead turn it clockwise until it stops and that is zero no matter what number on the dial it lands on. then you count the clicks from zero position and that is the 18-24 they are speaking of. i’m not sure why the numerical dial is even there other than to be confusing lol the directions don’t reference it once. they only refer to “clicks”. anyway once i figured it out i set it at 18 to start for an aeropress and it came out great! came out a bit finer than the pour over setting on my electric grinder which makes sense - the more clicks the coarser the grind. the less clicks the finer - they say to not use clicks 0-6 bc they are too fine even for espresso. hope this helps anyone else that’s a little confused! once i figured it out this thing is awesome. my coffee today came out way stronger and more flavorful than my electric grinder (same beans from same bag). i can’t believe it took me so long to start grinding my own!
