Well made, attractive, works easily. I replaced a battery operated salt and pepper shaker, which I did like-but over time the salt corroded battery area and, being top heavy, pepper grinder kept tipping over and falling-eventually breaking. This grinder is so easily used, battery operation is not necessary. Comes with an assortment of salts as well, which was a nice surprise. I will be ordering a matching grinder for salt, as well.
