Not a bad product. Overpriced for what it isOk, what is it? A reasonably precise mini belt sander. The stamped out metal parts could use deburring as they are a little sharp on the edges. You can do this with a file or Dremel like too if you are so inclined. It's not a big deal for a craft person.It's not exactly underpowered but understand that the low power dc motor is light duty. If you take your time and adjust the machine you're self this is a really nice little tool for sharpening or resurfacing and so on. I really love this dinky but highly useful tool. It has a low footprint in your shop and it's lightweight easy to put away or keep on the bench.But a 2" c clamp to mount to work table. It's better than using the screw holes provided and no mess. If you plan on not being in one permanent spot get a 2" c clamp .Ok, word to wiseIf you need more than the belt sander part just buy the most basic unit without grinding and polishing wheel. It looks like a good idea but reminder, this is a low rpm system that for a belt sander is actually desired however for grinding and polishing you want something with much more power and rpms.Everywhere I see these for sale they try to get around $80 for the full kit. Don't do it! Especially if they have a sale price of like $60 then a shipping price of $20. Don't support this nonsense. All prices should be upfront.Get the basic unit without all the extra junk. You get 2 of a wide range of belt grits and they are decent enough to last you a while.If you need power and speed harbor freight has a nice unit for around $70. Check for storewide sales to save %10. These are actually nice quiet sanders. I have spent more on name brand sanders where the bearings were so loud I hated using the darn thing.I hope this helps.
