This is a quality plate, I used it few dozen times over the last two years and just had to sharpen it (to level surface) for the first time. This is a well manufactured plate with no sharp edges at the perimeter and clear size markings on the edge. To maintain it using first 150 grit sandpaper and then 600 and 1000 grit sharpening stone took about 10 minutes. Now it looks and performs like new.
