This mortar and pestle is small but mighty. I was looking for pink and this fits the bill. I use it mostly to crush anti pain supplements for my dogs but it's versatile so I could use it for many other things too. It is small so if you have a big job and it's going to get heavy use you may opt for a larger, marble mortar and pestle but this is perfect for what I wanted it for. It's an added bonus for me that it's cute and colorful
