I Purchased this polishing set to clean up an edge of Granite I cut.The thing is, the grinder adapter doesn't thread onto any American or Metric grinder.My grinder thread, a DeWalt, is 5/8....I went to the hardware store and we couldn't find the thread type. My thought was, I could cut off a bolt that threaded into it, and use a drill.I ended up getting an orbital sander, and slapping the velcro pads into that. Unfortunately, the pads are 4 inch, and the orbital sander is 5 inch... but I made it work!
