I have dry, cracked skin on my heals that I’ve unsuccessfully tried to remove in the past. Previously, I bought one of those cordless electric callus removers that uses a rotating drum type sanding surface, but it was a waste of time. When I saw the different design of this Amiitry Electric Foot Callus Remover, I thought I’d give it a try. I am glad I did. This callus remover is not cordless, but that is not a problem. It uses a powerful motor that spins a replaceable, stick-on sanding disc. The motor is reversible and can run at various speeds, all of which are selected by a small control module on the cord. The kit comes with 60 replacement discs.I tested this on both my heels and I was very impressed. I started on the highest speed, which is not super fast, but regardless I dialed it back some because it was difficult to hold steady. This was the only thing I could fault about the tool, but it wasn’t enough to deduct a star. When I set it at medium to low speeds, it was much easier to hold steady in one place, but it still moved around some. I liked the fact that the rotational direction could be reversed because that helped me to hold it steady depending on which side of the sanding disc I was using. In a matter of minutes, this tool removed all that dead skin that my previous device couldn’t. One sanding disc cleaned up both of my heels and still looked as good as new, so the 60 discs should last me a while.
