Been using daily the last 4 months. The actual bean grinding has not been an issue, but there are a couple user experiences in the process that are annoying.• Unit cannot be turned off, must be unplugged or else the display light stays on.• Buttons are not super responsive & will never work the first tap, always have to try 2-3 times (especially when holding start/stop button to change to # of cups)• There’s always a little bit of grind left up in the machine when it’s done & spills onto the bottom, which is difficult to clean out b/c of the lip.Overall, I give it 4 stars since it grinds well at a decent price-point with some minor annoyances.I drink a couple espresso a day. I use the bean bought from Costco. This grinder got clogged after two three weeks.Cleanup isn’t that easy.I will keep it as long as it works. Will clean it up when it clogged again.I wouldn’t buy it again.----update 06/16/2022It's clogged again. Completely stopped working. Had to take it part to cleanup. It's about 4-5 weeks since last thorough cleanup. I have two coffees per day on average. Not a heavy user. Probably I am just a typical daily drinker.To do a cleanup, it took about 10 min. It creates a mess as I pull out the residuals.I will continue to use it and do a cleanup every 4-5 weeks, until I can't put up with it any more.I watched a lot of videos online about how I should get a $800 grinder and then I got this one instead.I would probably do it again. It's a coffee grinder. It grinds fine enough for espresso. It's cheap. It looks nice enough. It works. The worst part about this grinder is the flashing power button light. My best guess is they couldn't figure out how to make it stop and they gave up. It's fine. It lives in the kitchen.I recommend it. It grinds the coffee into the smaller pieces of coffee and it seems to do a pretty good job. There's also minimal static which is a bonus! If you're looking for a cheap grinder that can do espresso this is it. You won't be bragging to anyone about it, but you'll have enough caffeine in your system that you won't care.8/9 Stars.First Gevi grinder was purchased for me as a gift by my son. It stopped working after about eight months. I had kept the burr clean, and tried everything possible to clean it, watched all the videos. Never could get it to work. I replaced it with the same item, so that my son would not know his purchase/gift was a disappointment. Now, about six months later, same thing is happening. I have to clean not only the burr, but also inside the area between the burr and where the coffee comes out. I have the item set to the largest grind for expresso, and it constantly needs cleaned. This takes about five minutes, which is not a good thing when you are trying to get out the door for work in the morning. I am sure the second grinder will stop working soon too. IMHO these grinders are junk, have some sort of design flaw, and are not worth the $ 80 you will spend on it. I suggest passing on purchasing a Gevi grinder. Not one, but two items have failed to work well.This grinder grinds OK, but it makes a huge mess.
