I love how convenient this little grinder is. No power cord to drag out and then have to put it away. Just plug in the battery and away you go. Doesn't have a ton of power, but works well for small light jobs.Easy to use. Battery powered unit provides for excellent maneuverability. For occasional home use, it's excellent. The first one that arrived would not charge. Figured out it was the charger that was defective. Amazon help tried to be helpful, but I had to explain repeatedly what the problem was. They agreed it was defective and sent replacement quickly. Replacement works well. A bit heavy and unwieldy, but actually works pretty well. Put in a sanding disk and timed it to just over 7 minutes of pretty much constant run time before battery died. Seemed to have full power until about 30 seconds before stopping. Could wait a few seconds and would restart for a bit, tried that several times before recharging. Ran again, this time with metal cutoff wheel. Ran with frequent start-stops for a good 30 minutes work time. Hard to say though how much of that time was actually “on”. Certainly more than 7 minutes though, I’d guess 15 min. Overall the power is good and battery life decent for the low price. I like the screw in handle that has 3 possible positions and stores the wrench. Shield has convenient cam lever to easily adjust. Honestly, should be a 4.5 star review but the first one being defective raises serious concerns.Very comfortable to work with. I like the soft start feature. Seems well built. So far used it on a wood sculpture with 40-grit Type 27 discs - very predictable handling. After a few minutes of use it became more of a sculpting tool the just a grinder. On the first sculpting session (early morning, ambient temp was around 75F) the battery lasted about 27 minutes (of almost continuous with short pauses use). The battery (the original it came with) got hot and the built-in overheating feature shutdown the battery all-together. Once it cooled off a little it gave me another 20 seconds worth of work and then died.A few days later I purchased a second battery which on the second charge lost the charge indicator lights (but when was nearly drained it did display the last bar). Maybe the company will chime in on the lights indicator issue.Nice product for the money well built!Anyone who has to use power tools regularly understands why you pay for quality. Sometimes the layman just needs something in a pinch. This tool is perfect for the latter. I bought this on a special and used it break down old well parts in an area without electricity. It was perfect. Battery lasted longer than expected for an entry level product. Gets minor jobs done very effectively.Haven't used it but like itI have the Skil Drill and Impact in 20v and I wanted the Grinder to match. I was disappointed that the otherwise well engineered grinder is NOT a high speed grinder. This causes the grinder to bog and bind when cutting sheet metal. IDK if I would buy this again or recommend it. It's too bad because if it had more RPM if would be a good grinder.definitely not a good purchase. the battery life time is about 30mins max when cutting in 16 gage steel plate and keep on jamming because its not powerful enough to keep going. Compared to a wired grinder its no match at all most of the time im using it for for small project that need a quick cut like exhaust replacement or cutting a pipe in wall or just to finish the look of a plate. Dont expect this tool to be a viable replacement for a wired grinder it is not only disappointment awaits you.....on the good side its a nice design tool the key to unlock the disk fit in the handle and theres 3 spot to screw the handle (both side and the top) and the blade protection is swivable so you can move it from side to side depending on the angle.....in conclusion this tool need a way better battery and more rotary speed to but even a little a good replacement for a wired grinderThe grinder is actually quite good! Solid built, works well especially for the price. The 3-star rating is because of the battery. It's not even half as powerful as it should be... Even for light use, you'll be lucky if you get 3 minutes of use before it starts stopping randomly. They should have ingluded AT LEAST a 4Ah battery with tgis grinder.Bottom line, if you need an angle grinder so little that the battery on this is enough for you, you should get a cabled angle grinder instead for half price. This is the worst possible grinder I’ve ever used it has absolutely no power and after five minutes of losing it the battery got so hot that I burnt my hand with it..And it was constantly shutting down I think this grinder should be taken off the market not a safe product at all I still have a red mark for where the battery burn my hand or wristTiene buen peso, lo que permite tener mayor control al utilizarla.
