I was excited when I found this and how closely it resembled the Philippe Starck lemon juicer that Alessi also makes.The adjustment knob on top is easy with lots of options to dial it in to ur preference. It holds a lot of whole pepper compared to the classic wood examples at William Sonoma. The ribs are helpful to give you grip. It has a wide mouth making refilling easier than the aforementioned wood pepper mills. Excellent example of design, execution and practicality. Well done Alessi!
