This item was purchased by a relative as part of my wedding registry. My wife and I opened the gift and tried using it not too long ago after our wedding. We saw the plug isn’t a US based plug and we bought a bunch of converters. There are no instructions on anything about what converter is needed or why it came in a UK plug or anything. We emailed customer service and told them this was sold to us in the US for our wedding and their response stated they couldn’t do anything about it and cannot return it. THat’s where we learned it’s 240v and completely renders the product useless in the US. ONE STAR BECAUSE THEY CHOSE NOT TO TAKE CARE OF THE SITUATION WITH POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THE FACT THEY SOLD THIS MODEL IN THE US IS RIDICULOUS,
