The cut off wheel must have a maximum operating speed greater than or equal to the maximum speed of the power tool used. Always wear safety goggles, a full face mask, and use only with a safety guard. Greater Tensile Strength Shark's type 1 aluminum oxide cut off wheels are reinforced with fiberglass. Fast cutting abrasive cut off wheels can be used in a variety of applications, including steel cutting. The fiberglass reinforcement provides greater tensile strength, as well as increased safety.
