Smaller burrs require faster speeds. 7, Soft materials, such as aluminum, use a grinding oil to reduce debris clogging. Grind glass, use water as lubricant. 8, Elongate holes, grip tool firmly with two hands and use a swinging motion, which prevents chatter, result in a safer cut. 9, Avoid impact loads, otherwise parts teeth will break off, shank will bend. Do not sink the burr for more than 1/3 of its periphery. 10, Recommendation for drives: shank 1/8" (75 to 300W), shank 1/4" (from 300W), for coarse cuts, 500W+ advantageous.

I picked this up to help clean up edges on 3D print, wood, and metal projects. I’ve used it with wood and 3D prints, but haven’t tried it on metal yet. The bit is nice and appears well made. I chucked it into my drill and it gets the job done as expected. It also comes in a nice little plastic case that took me a second to figure out how to open. In general it’s a little hard to control with a drill, so I may pick one up made to work with a Dremel for a bit more control. All in all the bit works as designed and is a nice addition to my tool collection.
