I decided to give these a try but wasn't expecting much to be honest. I've been pleasantly surprised to see how quickly they remove rust and mill scale from angle iron and other mild steel. On seamless tube, these leave a purple film which I had to remove with lacquer thinner before painting so best to only use on the rougher mill scale and rust stuff.
