Well I got these Benchmark Abrasives 36 grit self sharpening ceramic flap discs just in time for a job I was doing for my land lady. They got here pretty darn quick and boy was I glad because I just couldn’t wait to try em out on the old n rusting metal frame (of a an old mid century farmers wagon)I had to recondition n paint. My expectations were pretty high, tho I did do some research before buyin these lil darlins, and I gathered that ,for the price, even if they met or exceeded my hopes ,they are still in a certain class of abrasives that performs in a pretty expected manner. What that means is that although they did perform splendidly on the burred and corroded metallic frame, eating and gouging away pretty aggressively, they seemed to wear down pretty quickly. Now I do know that it also takes some skill and proficiency to handle and wield the angle grinder and whatever ammo you use with it,and this was my first try with ceramic flap discs,AND I did honestly give em a hard run,so I’m sure that if you don’t push too hard they will probably last for a quite a bit longer.I’m eager to check out the much pricier Walter enduro flap discs, with their trimming capabilities, but for this price these babies are a sure fire hit.The packaging is nice and tight ,the performance like I stated is top notch, and again ,the only beef I have I guess is durability/long-lastingness....Unfortunately my land lady stopped me short when she saw me havin so much fun on the wagon frame, told me it looks great and urged me to Go on with the painting phase of the job(I really wanted to get rid of allll those little burrs and gouges in the metal before I went on,get a real smooth surface....?????),but I do know I can’t wait for the next opportunity to have another go with these fine lil flappies, and I have yet to try the 120grits i got as well!!Thanks Benchmark Abrasives!!Keep the awesome products comin!!????❤️???????☄️⭐️??⚙️?⛏??⚒?????????
