'Country of Origin' was not specified in the Amazon listing for this burr so my performance and durability expectations were low, but wherever it was made, it turns out to be excellent. I purchased it to ream the ID of a small quantity of 'grade eight' washers (too hard to drill with tool steel), expecting it to be used up by completion. To my surprise, there was no appreciable dulling, and no breakage or chipping. I can recommend it. Tough and sharp. I'm a machinist with extensive cutting tool experience.
