Tried this for the first time while vacationing in Canada from Florida...it didn't even scratch the blades of the skates let alone sharpen them. Tried several times but gave up and had skates sharpened at pro shop.Too late to do anything about it, the return window is over but can prevent someone else from wasting their money.
